A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager to join a legal firm in Cambridge.
This role is supporting the Partners in the smooth running of the Office including Planning, Financial Management, Change Management, Office Facilities and Management of Support Staff.
Duties include:
Oversee key operating processes and ensure efficiency is optimised and that ISO requirements are met
Assist in the drafting and maintenance of office expenses budget
Oversee maintenance contracts including cleaning, maintenance, office equipment and furniture, as well as office infrastructure
Health & Safety management
Maintain the office staff time system and take steps if necessary to resolve any issues that might arise from over time-shortfall
Manage support staff, resolving any staffing issues
Performance management and conducting appraisals
Liaise with central HR on employment issues and company policies
Coordinate recruitment including - recruit and arrange induction and training for new staff in conjunction with and relevant line managers
Support the Partners with diary management, meeting agendas and minutes
Organise travel and accommodation for Partners and Associates for business trips
Assist the secretarial team when workloads are high
The ideal candidate:
Experience of managing facilities and administrative teams is essential
Excellent attention to detail with a calm and methodical approach
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple workloads
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office - Excel, PowerPoint and Word
