The resultsshowed that the greater the amount of trust employees in Vietnam have towards the HQ, theeasier it is to transfer knowledge from the HQ. This is in accordance with findings fromprevious literature of trust (Simonin, 1999; Tsai and Ghoshal, 1998). Trust enables thetransfer of organizational knowledge since it increases partners’ willingness to commit tohelping partners understand new external knowledge (Lane et al., 2001).
