Exposure to azinphos-methylfor 48 hinduced severalneurotoxicity
signs in C. gibbosa: 11% of the snails showed weak adherence,
82% presented lack of adherence to vessels, and 96% exhibited an
abnormally protruded head–foot region from the shell and absence
of spontaneous movements, hardly reacting to mechanical stimuli;
the latter two signs presented significant differences with respect
to controls (Fisher’s Exact Test; P < 0.05) (Fig. 3).
