Midi Baccarat
A French adaptation of the Italian game ‘Baccara’, the game of Baccarat is an elegant comparing card game comprised of seated players and back betters. A form of Barccarat, Midi Baccarat is played between the player and the banker, in which wagers can be made on the player, the banker or tie. Two cards are dealt to the player and two cards are dealt to the banker. Face cards, 10’s and cards totaling 10 count as 0. Ace cards count as 1. If the cards total a two-digit number, only the last digit counts. Winning player and banker bets are paid 1 to 1, while winning tie bets paid 8 to 1.

Blackjack is one the most popular casino banking games played around the globe. It is believed to have originated in the French casinos during the 16th century from the game ‘Ving-et-Un’, which means twenty-one. Played between the dealer and one player, the objective of the game is for the player to obtain a hand with a total nearer to 21 than the dealer’s hand, without going over 21. The player is initially dealt two cards, in which they have the option of “hitting”, or receiving an additional card. Cards 2 through 10 have numeric value, while face cards are worth 10 points each and the Ace card is worth either 1 or 11, player’s choice. The hand with a total of 21 or the highest total that is less than 21 wins.
