- In plants with GMP Products:
- All personnel entering ANY data must login with unique username and password.
- Personnel configured to enter SPC data for any GMP focus factory will automatically be
logged off after 5 minutes of inactivity on the SPC screen. (EXAMPLE)
- Personnel not entering SPC data (not on SPC screen or any SPC Grid), and personnel
configured to enter SPC data ONLY for NON-GMP focus factories will be automatically
logged off after 90 minutes of inactivity.
- The name of the person logged in is now shown at the top of the screen.
- Personnel logging in as Share (no password required) will be automatically logged off
after 90 minutes of inactivity.
- All users can use the Logout and Login Icons to automatically logoff and login.
- The 5 minute logoff for SPC and 90 minute logoff for non-SPC is configurable and may
change in the future.
- Passwords are configured to expire after 180 days, with warnings 20 days prior. (EXAMPLE)
- Passwords can be changed at the warning, or by clicking Security:Change Password. (EXAMPLE)
- Passwords will be LOCKED OUT after three failed attempts to logon. Successful logon clears the
failed attemps.
- Passwords which have been LOCKED OUT can be reset in two ways
- Personnel with MASTER Security level can reset via Security:Configure
- Team leaders whose username is in the Reset table can reset, or look up, Passwords for
usernames with level 3 and below using SPC:Reset Password or Password Lookup
- Personnel with MASTER security level are responsible to:
- Configure username, initial passwords, full names (Last First MI recommended),
security level, plant, focus factory for all users
- Configure the GMP focus factories requiring Enhanced Security using
Security:Configure:Focus Factory
- Enter the names of the team leaders authorized to reset or lookup passwords (level 3
and below) into the Reset table.
