5.3 Tolerable Risk: is the risk that has been reduced to a level that can be endured by the Facility having regard to its legal obligations and it’s EH&S Policy.
5.4 Hazard: is the source or situation with a potential for harm in terms of human injury or ill health, damage to property, damage to the workplace environment, or a combination of these.
5.5 Hazard Identification: is the process of recognizing that a hazard exists and defining its characteristics.
5.6 Environmental Aspect: an element of Visteon Facility’s activities or products or services that can interact with the environment.
5.7 REACH: a European Regulation 1907/2006/EC on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), which entered into force on 1 June 2007.
5.8 Significant Environmental Aspect: an environmental aspect that has or can have a significant environmental impact and has been determined significant by the cross functional team.
5.9 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs): substances are considered of very high concern according to Article 57 REACH. See Visteon Environmental Standard VCE-7 Restricted
