The weaknesses of the area are identified as follows. Firstly, the haze that might occur. Secondly, the area is quite secluded and forested, making transportation very inconvenient. Lastly, the area and streets are isolated due to the lack of sufficient lighting. All of these factors affect the interests and attraction of tourists to the area.
Recommendations for improvement are that more routes can be pathed and added with lighting and electrical infrastructure for convenience of transportation vehicles like tour buses, cars and bicycles. Cable car services can be added in to attract tourists to view the natural area from a high ground.
Accommodation recommendations would include a local lodge that is managed by the local community. Tourists can also have the choice of hosting their own camping night in specific areas that are approved by the management for their safety.
The management will also be recommended to implement the set of policies and laws for the ecotourism area to maintain safety standards. It is also their duty to monitor the Pollutant Standards Index (“PSI”) levels of the air quality to ensure that tourists can enjoy the attraction under healthy conditions.
These strategic recommendations are aimed to improve the ecotourism area to maintain the natural habitat and at the same time promote tourism and attractions. Proper management is to ensure that the pathing of new routes and activities are inspected for safety and the planning of the area’s attractions.
