Experimental study has been carried out to investigate airflow
friction and heat transfer characteristics in a channel fittedwith different
triangular rib heights for the turbulent regime, Reynolds number of
5000 to 22,000. The use of the rib turbulators causes a veryhighpressure
drop increase, especially for high flow blockage rib, e/H=0.26 and also
provides considerable heat transfer augmentations, Nu/Nu0=1.8–4.0,
depending on rib height. Nusselt number augmentation tends to be
constant values with the rise of Reynolds number. The non-uniform rib
height provides lower heat transfer enhancement compared to
