rub the fat in the flour and salt. until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. stir in enough milk to give a soft dough.turn onto a lightly floured board and knead gently. pat out to about 2.5 cm 1 inch thick and stamp out circles using a 5cm fluted round pastry cutter. place on a floured baking tray and bush with a little beaten egg or milk if liked 8-10 minutes until golden.
