To test our hypotheses, a multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was conducted
with the three influence dimensions as the dependent variables; national culture (Thailand and
U.S.), and age group (23-38 years old and 39-54 years old) as the independent variables; and the
five demographic variables (gender, years worked, position level, organization size, and industry)
entered as covariates. Duncan multiple comparison tests were conducted for any dimensions found
to be significant in the MANCOVA (Kirk, 1982).
