This project developed an algorithm for optimal design of aiming point of luminaries for outdoor lighting size 25x42 m2. The optimization technique is used together with a developed software using MATLAB for simulation of outdoor luminance. The program calculates luminance by using symmetrical condition in association with Limit Search Space Optimization (LSSO) technique, which is applied to limit the search space. The obtained results are illuminated graphically and optimal aiming points, which can be used to help designing in real situation.
