This Harbin festival is amongst the four largest ice and snow festivals in the world. Remaining three are – Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan, Ski Festival in Norway and Quebec City Winter Carnival in Canada. This city in 2007’s festival was successfully recorded its 250 metres long sculpture in Guinness book of World Record as the largest snow sculpture. This sculpture used more than 13,000 cubic metres of snow, measured a height of 28 feet. It was the composition of two parts – one as Niagara Falls and other as Crossing the Bering Strait.
