Maybe small detail for you at this point, but yet to inform where we are with this and follow request from Josef to have this implemented.
As you know we have started issueing barcode labels for hulls, decks and engines (occasionally).
Despite there may be questions how this adds up functionally in the production we will continue this process and should assure it happens for all these components whenever issued to the production line.
As below the labels should be issued and I have inserted samples of the formats as they have been setup now. Any desired changes let me know.
Further I need you to come up with somebody who will take on the the printing and distribution of these labels so this process can continue on behalf of the production team.
1. Hulls (b3r/b3s)
a. Paint shop prepares a buffer of hulls to stock
b. As soon as a request is made to issue deck to the production line, label to be issued and attached to selected hull based upon applicable CIN number and production seq. number
2. Decks (b3r/b3s)
a. Paint shop prepares a buffer of decks to stock
b. Labels can be attached at once upon finishing or upon issue to production line. The label for the deck has no required serial identification or product seq. number
3. Engines
a. Label to be issued once engine passed Dyno test.
b. Label need “cut to size” after printing to fit in on the engine cover. We can look at alternative size labels…but this implies also another printer etc.
