Dear PIC of GF
Thank you for your kindly support us on our visiting on 25th ‐ 26th February 2016.
According a periodical of the production line inspection, Night shift has produced frozen green beans, as for dayshift
are selected and packed GSB.
GB are planning to harvest about 200 tons the same as last year, which is started freezing from Jan 3 and expected to
end the season on around February 7.
Overall of the process and sanitation control are maintained well through the line. Follow‐up request of
improvement from previous inspection,
some of them are carried out such as clean the dirt and mold accumulate point on the control box and electric pipe at
the wall nearby infeed of IQF,
re‐install of in‐feed conveyor to prevent the GSB attached the edge of belt. However, there are still some points to be
observe accumulated black dirt
which is the accumulation of bacteria such as the roller under of main‐feeding conveyor, back side of stainless bar in
front of the IQF, stainless support of in‐feed conveyor etc.
Should set up of firm cleaning system by reviewing cleaning methods, frequency and monitoring system by considering
to un‐openable position, back side and
inside position, high and low position, to make the production line perfectly clean, to prevent any cross‐contamination
caused by bacteria accumulate.
Regarding the foreign matter, there was observed a fragment of R/M container, a part of cleaning tool, both of
them were attached the machine of cooling line.
Also, a plastic part of machine was scratched that might torn off and contaminate with the product. Additionally, rust
were observed at the hanger of cleaning tool and
a part of chemical store. Should be monitored and maintained in a good condition to prevent foreign matter risks.
For laboratory recommendations of improvement at the last time visit has been implemented, to prevent any
cross contamination such as blocking of the lab room from the outside and
rearrange the layout of laboratory equipment. However, during the visit found that the lab assigned intern student
cutting the samples in the lab, which aseptic techniques was improper.
In addition, the lab kept Deoxycholate Agar (CG testing) in the refrigerator for using, which this medium is heat
sensitive and is not recommended for re‐melt.
Should be clearly defined on training, skills and knowledge needed and evaluation process for new staff include intern
student and re‐training how to handle the medium.
Note : The office and the laboratory is still in the temporary area, the restoration is still on the process of insurance
claim, which GF is expected to be completed this year.
