Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for Volvo bus business operations in Region Thailand including Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Lao and Cambodia
Develop and communicate strategic direction to meet objectives for Volvo Bus Region Thailand documented in a 3-year rolling Business Plan revised annually.
Implementation of Volvo Bus Corporation’s goals and objectives in areas of responsibility.
Monitor performance of Volvo Bus Region Thailand business.
Participate as a member of the Volvo Group Thailand Extended Country Management Team and play an active role on the Asia Pacific Region management team.
Develop organisation structure and staff competencies.
Develop relations and direct contacts with management of main key account customers in the marketplace.
Develop a customer support structure in line with Volvo’s guideline and requirement including the management and development of Volvo dealers and service providers.
Develop input to Volvo Bus Corp on market adapted products fulfilling legal demands and satisfying customers and Volvo’s requirement of quality, reliability and durability.
Employ personnel within the function.
Direction of marketing, press & public relations activities.
Ensure sales targets are met.
Ensure financial targets are met.
Ensure costs to the division are kept within agreed budget.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors, CKD assemblers, body builders and bus assemblers throughout the region.
