Yes, I do sir/ma’am. I used to be a trainee at Marriott Hotel for 3 months as a Front desk clerk. I work directly with the guests; Greet guests and patrons as they arrive, manage the registration process, handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately, provide guests with room keys and call for bellboys, take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities and travel directions and refer guests to appropriate departments to resolve complaints or provide suggestions. During my training, I learnt that when you take a position as a front desk clerk, it's important that you be able to work well under pressure and maintain a consistently pleasant and professional personality when communicating with the guests. Most importantly, I realized that working at the front desk of a hotel can be quite rewarding because you get to meet people from different walks of life
