1.8.1.2 Quality Division (QAD)
Quality Division is responsible to establish, implement, manage and maintain a quality and
safety management system that conforms to rules and regulations of applicable civil aviation
authorities, IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standards and Company requirements.
The post holders designated to manage the QAD shall process the following attributes;
Operational management experience and technical background as a type-rate pilot,
a certificated flight attendant or a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer
Familiar with aviation regulations, IATA Operational Safety Audit Standards and
Recommended Practices
Sound knowledge of human factors principles, audit techniques, risk assessment
and mitigation processes, and emergency response principles
Be ethical, professional and trustworthy in upholding Company standards and requirements
