More work for the buyer. I wonder if that is a good idea.
I also wonder how many buyers will perceive a mistaken date (some other family member brought it into the house and didn't tell them) or lie.
I suppose if they get honest responses, it will give ebay a sense of whether their estimates are accurate or not (although they already have code to check whether the label was used which means they could easily modify it to check when the package was delivered and get a "real" date).
Dunno, yes, it appears to be new, but I haven't thought about it long enough to know how I feel about it (or the way it is implemented). My first reaction was that it put too much emphasis on delivery times. Most eBay sellers are trying their darndest to get things out fast and pointing fingers at it doesn't help us.
