In an effort to contribute to the mitigation of the heat island effect, which is becoming increasingly
intense in urban areas, and at the same time not to compromise on the aesthetics of a building or other
urban skucture, Beger cool colored coatings were created, using High Solar Reflective color pigments,
and tested in comparison to conventionally pigmented color matched coatings. The result show that
the envelop surface and room temperature of the high Solar Reflective Paint, both white and white
grey color case, is the least of all. The average temperature of envelop (roof and wall) and room about
3-4oC when comparing with conventional color coated. The energy consumption of the Beger cool
building is lower than other building abott 5-7%o at all experimental condition.
