When saving a file to another format, there is normally an "options" box available. Click the type of file you are saving as and navigate thru the options available. STEP normally works pretty well if the right options are chosen.
Hello guys,
Is there anyone who knows how to save Solidworks 2016 files as Solidworks 2015 files?
Thank you.
Saving backward is not possible. You need to convert the SW2016 file to a neutral format (step, iges, etc), then open that in SW2015 as a "dumb solid" containing no feature tree.
