As Table 4.2 shows, these data indicate that the probability is greater than 5% that on any one test of the null hypothesis the two groups differ because of the way they were taught. Therefore I accept the null. There is no significant difference between the two means. Even though both groups received a passing score, the mean score of the traditional group is higher than that of the Kodaly group. The Effect Size Cohen’s d is 0.517. This indicates a large effect size.
