When upgrading low-calorific gasses, such as bio gas and landfill gas, delivery of gas with required quality to the network can give rise to problems. One cause can be the high concentration of nitrogen in the bio gas. Another cause is the physical connection to the natural-gas network, which connection is a restrictive factor that determines the maximum capacity of an upgrading installation.
GtS has developed the GPP®plus system to solve the above-mentioned problems. The bio methane that results after upgrading the raw bio gas will be liquefied. Liquefied Bio Gas (LBG) is obtained with a methane purity higher than 98%
