A digital micrometer (Digimess, IP40, Brazil) with 0.001 accuracy and 0–25 mm resolution was used to determine the average thickness of the films, with measurements made at five different positions for each sample. Mechanical analyses were performed following the ASTM standard method D882-09 (2009), using a texture analyzer (Stable Micro Systems, TA.XT2i, United Kingdom) with a load cell of 5 kg. The initial separation of the grids (Stable Micro Systems, A/TG, United Kingdom) was set at 50 mm and the crosshead speed at 0.8 mm s−1. Ten strips of each film (110 mm × 25 mm) were evaluated for tensile strength (TS) [MPa], percent elongation at break (EAB) [%], and Young’s Modulus (YM) [MPa], and the average values were calculated.
