If you're getting started with Android Development, begin with Android Studio.
Trust me, even with the enormous amount of tutorials you can find about Android Development on Eclipse, Android Studio is a far simpler way to develop for Android if you manage to get the hang of it.
For developers who have been using Eclipse, migrating to Studio is a nightmare for them, hence take the step in the correct direction.
Even so, if Android Studio is in Beta, it's stable enough for you to continue development and it is what the future of Android is.
Eclipse ADT plugin support will be deprecated once Android Studio is out of Beta, so go on, rock the gradle!
