Inside the Ubosoth, on the wall are mural paintings. The paintings facing the Emerald Buddha show the Enlightenment of the buddha when Mara and his army attacked the Buddha and were afterwards drowned in the water of merit, which was wrung from the Earth Goddess's hair. The paintings on the opposite wall represent the Buddhist cosmology whieh consists of the three worlds, namely, the World of Senses, the World of Form and the World of Non-Form. And the murals on the side walls show scenes from the jatakas and the royal processions.
