Profile through the image as well as full widths at half
maximum of the peaks are reported as a spatial resolution of
the detector.
A thin phantom simulating a plant leaf was prepared using a
piece graph paper and two drops of 18FDG solution. Total
activity of the phantom was measured to be 103 nCi. Phantom
was placed directly on the detector surface and imaged for 300
seconds. Finally, a section of a rose plant stem with two leaves
attached was placed in a vial containing approximately 1.5
mCi of 18FDG solution and left there for 90 minutes to allow
for radioactive uptake, Fig.
