the employees of the three unit types. Professional unit respondents
scored highest in all measures of experience and positive perception of
the system. Liberal arts units respondents scored second in all the measures
and administrative unit respondents scored lowest in their experience
and perception of the system. Thus, Hypothesis 1 is supported.
Hypothesis 2 predicts that the units in the university have significantly
different norms toward the use of Blackboard. As shown in Table
3, this hypothesis is supported as professional academic units scored
highest in the department norm that they should use Blackboard to do
