Current measurements were reported by the Guinean Ocean Research Center (Centre de Recherché Scientifiquede Conakry-Rog-bané—CERESCOR) at specific locations in the Guinean waters. The monthly analysis of the wind directions, Leroux (1980), show that the dominant wind vary according to the seasonal changes and is also ordered by the distance from the equator (the boundary line of the southern and boreal anemometric influences).
