Komla Dumor, a deeply talented Ghana presenter died on Saturday evening (18 January 2014). He was 41 and died of a cardiac arrest.
Komla was a very articulate and accomplished presenter for BBC World News and its Focus on Africa programme. Komla Afeke Dumor (3 October 1972 – 18 January 2014) was a Ghanaian journalist who was born in Accra, Ghana. His grandfather was Philip Gbeho, composer of the Ghanaian national anthem. As of June 2012, Komla was the main presenter of the BBC World News programme Focus on Africa.
