Corrosion monitoring technique, which is developed on the
basis of corrosion test method in laboratory and equipment nondamage
measuring technique, aims at grasping the process of
corrosion, evaluating the applied circumstance and controlling the
condition of corrosion. The most representative corrosion monitoring
technique, which were developed so far, can be summarized as
follows: first, material coupon exposure method is used to provide
an insight into corrosion mechanisms and a basis for estimating
service life [2]; second, electrical resistance technique (ER) [3,4]
and inductive resistance probes [5], which are based on measuring
