Item Management is initiated with a need to maintain the item information for a given site.
User needs to create the item general information by starting at item maintenance menu in order to create the necessary item information namely item information, item characteristic and item measurement. Furthermore, user can create the sales unit and barcode to apply with the price process. In addition, user can create the item attribute as well.
After that user must define the vendor that system need to purchase this item in system along with the order unit information. When user has already defined the vendor then user must assign this item for each site and need to enter site information for this item. We call as “Item Assortment”.
Such above needs are created in the system; user can create the selling price or purchase price later.
