The moon is always beautiful and bright, never sad. Even when covered by clouds or in the dark. The poet compares the moon with the human race. Because the moon is always bright, beautiful and happy but the humans are always gloomy and sad he criticize the way of living of humans, because we are not thankful for what we have and we are selfish. The poet asks to the bright ship of heaven to forgive him for follow the wake and let his spirit droop. He is against the fashion, against the society. He doesn’t want to be like the rest of the people but if he in fall in the wake he wish that the moon will help him to go back again to his individualist track and be forgiven about his failure.
The similarity between the moon and the man is that both of them are progressing towards their destinations. But the difference between them is the fact that while the moon seems to be happy and cheerful, humans appears to be sad and depressed.
