Brief Plan for Solving It’sMe Issue
Three Key Issues
1. VJ's Morale and Return to stream at It'sMe
-> 1.1 : Salary Issue (Qualification)
The major-sensitive issue of VJs is salary. By the qualification issue that we raised by last July. It effects us by decreasing the number of streaming VJs. By the very first days, it did not effect much due to those VJs who got the salary still on. However, due to less VJs, it effects us by less users as well as less customers. At the end, it effects the Eco-system as a whole. The qualification issue is the main issue that cause current It'sMe problem. It does not mean that we would not have qualification method to select the VJs, but we need to make the system be fair to all stakeholders. The key problem of this problem is we set the rule to spread out the word to VJs officially by 6th July 2016. However, the rule would effect since the beginning of July. Many of VJs knew the word even like 2-3 days after the rule was set. The rule that set for 2 weeks which VJs need to get 4K Followers and 5k diamonds are unreality to reach. Some can make it, but many of them can't. We later expanded it to 30 days. This was better, but at the end, many of VJs who passed the qualification did not get qualify by poor resonation. The VJs feel confused and become protest afterward like we see.
Solution :
Pay all signed or form registered VJs in July
Remain ACU to 50 up to 3 or 4 months to not make the online VJs feel that we will always change the rule. They feel unstable.
2.Salary (Missing List)
From June up to now, there are some qualified Vjs, but still haven't received money yet. The problem caused by the form issue and email unchecked. I won't blaim this to any side yet, but this cause dissatisfaction a lot.
Solution :
Pay this group of VJs immidiently.
3.Salary (150 Extra by Wrong contract)
By April and May, bunch of VJs were giving the wrong contract due to our mistanding of the Google file upload which I will later on write the letter to explain over this issue. Before the current issue occurred, we knew it already. I personally talked with agencies over this issue and we could find out the solution. I do not say we can not to pay this to Vjs, but this issue can be negotiable, or giving to some as incentive. If we use this issue cleverly, we can turn this issue as a problem to be one of the incentive that please the VJs. Apart from 5 agencies that have this issue, only 1 that really concern over the problem much. So, this problem is negotiable.
Solution :
if we will choose negotiation plan, we need to pay two issue above first.
The payment for extra can be made later and we will negotiate with VJs and agencies along the way. And I personally suggest you to hold on this, but we need to act urgent payment like two issue above first.
Bring Back VJs to work with It'sMe
The key concept for taking VJs back here is raising trust by making the new feeling from operation team and add on some incentives.
Announcement for changing all operation team in Thailand : as VJs farly know now that I and Ron is no longer be in the company. They feel unstable with Thailand team and feel we leave away with the problem that is one of the reason why they get protest. Apart from I and Ron, they also feel that Ealing herself cause lots of problem and untrustable. However, one very good thing over this issue, we have already built up some hero and very trustable person who help Vjs solve this conflict which is You(as a CEO), Aek(from NCK) and Tea(from LUX). If you guys tag the team and after you paid qualification issues and after you spread out the news over operation team replacement, trust will back and It'sMe streamer rate will back to normal. First, people was claimed down when they knew that CEO went down to look after problem that was why we did not have any issue over police report by last few weeks. I would be better if you will stay here abit more for setting a new Thailand team and meet with VJs or agencies. Thai people believe and love top level people to go down and look after the problem. If you clear the problem, set out new team and give a vision to all of It'sMe stakeholders (which may host like party or gala dinner, VJs will come. Eco-system will go back as normal, or even go better due to the trust will be highly increased. Second, VJs and agencies feel Aek from NCK is logical and can solve the problem effectively. As well as Tae from Lux that help all the Vj issues during problem time. Trust will come back when you use those people who they have already trusted.
