Within its two brands, JPM operates under seven major business segments as indicated in Exhibit 2, with respective revenues given. Note that JPM’s revenues have been declining in three of the seven segments.
Exhibit 3 provides a breakdown of JPM revenues and net income over the geographic regions where the bank does business. Note that North America account for 81 percent of revenues and 86 percent of net income. Note also the dramatic drop in North American revenues in 2011 associated with a dramatic increase in associated net income.
