After we started our analysis, the proteome of lipid droplets isolated
from two biological replicates from wild type C. elegans was reported
[21]. Although worms were grown using different methods for each
study, and slightly different purification methods were used, the same
dietary E. coli strain was used as food and lipid droplets were isolated
from similar life stages in both studies. We found similar overlap
among lipid droplet proteins from two studies, with nearly two thirds
(63%) of our top 100 proteins present in Zhang et al. proteome (Table 1).
