Some notes to consider in the preparing of samples to be delivered in Italy (about THAI samples, I know Ms Zorana is in contact with your team, and the details are already defined):
- please don't send us samples obtained from the head and the bottom of the aluminium bar (don't take samples from the ends of the aluminium bars, but from the central part);
- if you will send us samples of the same code, but obtained from different bars (we will appreciate this option), please identify each sample with marking the bar from which the sample is obtained and the sample number (example: "bar n. 1-sample n.1"; "bar n. 1-sample n. 2"; "bar n. 1-sample n. 3"; "bar n.2-sample n.1"; "bar n.2-sample n.2", etc.);
- please send us all data concerning the polyamide bars you will use for the production of our samples (producer, technical data sheet, codes, etc);
- please send us copies of internal reports (shear tests) performed on our samples (if any);
- please tell us if the aluminium bars are painted before or after the assembly of the thermal break (important information);
- if the aluminium bars are painted after the assembly of the thermal break, please tell me if the polymerisation of the paint is at ambient temperature or on oven and the temperature of polymerisation (sorry, I don't know the Jotun product you mentioned - I suppose the Jotun product you mentioned is a liquid paint product, please confirm)
To conclude, last question just a check, due the fact you attached drawings of extrusion companies Schimmer and JMA:
- the aluminium profiles you will use to perform our test will be extruded by TTC or you will use Schimmer and JMA bars? Thermal break assembly will be performed by TTC, with your new equipment?
