The glasses with the composition 50P2O510Na2O 40CaO(CaO glass) and 50P2O510Na2O 40SrO (SrO glass) (mol%)were elaborated using a standard melting method. NaPO3,SrCO3CaCO3and (NH4)2HPO4were used as the raw materials. The Ca(PO3)2and Sr(PO3)2precursors were first independentlyprepared using slow heating rate up to 900◦C. Glasses wereprepared with 2 (x = 2%) and 3 (x = 3%) wt% of commercialSr4Al14O25:Eu2+,Dy3+microparticles (MPs) (Jinan G.L. NewMaterials, China, BG-01). The 2 and 3 wt% of MPs correspondrespectively, to 0.12 and 0.18 mol% of MPs in the CaO glassand to 0.15 and 0.22 mol% of MPs in the SrO glass. The MPswere added in the glass batch which was then melted at 1000◦Cfor 10 min in a quartz crucible in air.
