Everyone gets angry sometimes and there are many reasons for it such as changing of hormones,being under pressure, and worrying about personal problem,etc. When angry,some people may express the anger aggressively and some may be very calm. Though anger is a normal emotion,and there is nothing wrong with to show it, those who get angry easily and express it aggressively could be damaging their own mental and physical health. Thus,handling anger is very challenging. Two main tools which can be helpful in managing your anger are self-awareness and self-control. Self-awareness is the ability to notice what you are feeling and thinking and why. When you are angry, you should take a moment to notice what you are feeling and thinking. self-control is all about thinking before you act. You should put some precious seconds or minutes between feeling a strong emotion and taking an action that you might regret later. It takes time to develop the skills to deal with anger as anger is a strong emotion. It can be overwhelming sometimes. Learning how to deal with strong emotion –without losing control- is part of becoming more mature. It takes a little effort, a little practice, and a little patience ,but you can deal with anger successfully if you want to.
