I certainly believed Ward was Hydra, it was the old double-whammy -- oh, you think you know who the traitor is? Well, think again, lambchop! (When Ward was going on about how long Garrett had been his SO I went "uh oh" -- long enough to be turned, evidently!)
But honestly I was confused by seemingly out of character behaviour -- Ward killing the fake clairvoyant (which makes perfect sense if he is Hydra), because he's too by the book to do that, even given feelings for Skye; and then Hand offering Ward the chance to shoot Garrett in cold blood, which makes no sense whatsoever. So, what the hell, it's Joss Whedon, he likes to play mind games. We shall see what we shall see!
