the work is a transformable mask that exploits three different points of view that nature did not originally intend for your eyes. the architecture is formed by high-grammage corrugated cardboard, utilizing the material’s ability to crease and fold while maintaining an efficient amount of structural integrity. inside, the framework is reinforced by wood and plastic to support the integration of two non-breakable acrylic mirrors – one convex and one flat. the result is a construct that distorts the atmosphere by moving your line of site to other parts of your body such as your belly, above your head, backs, and upside down. the project is currently looking for funding on kickstarter here.
