This most likely was due to the rice
substrate used for the formulation of the Trichoderma spp. also
being a very good substrate for P. ramorum growth, perhaps stimulating
sporangia production from the germinated chlamydospore and, therefore, zoospore release. However, in the presence of the
antagonist, stimulation of sporangia appears to have been negated
or impacted the release of zoospores.
