Claudio Ranieri has very much become a manager who likes to stick to what he knows. The Leicester boss had a very solid starting XI last season that contributed in ways he couldn't have dreamt and despite going all out to bring Musa to the club - he sees no real reason to change it too much at the moment.
The impact of Islam Slimani won't have helped his chances either - with the Algerian centre forward lining up nicely alongside Jamie Vardy and bagging two goals in his first three games for the club.
Ranieri himself admitted that Musa is finding adapting to the Premier League difficult, saying: "He is working very well, but he is adapting now. When I watch him in the training sessions, he now understands... it is tough, but I had to choose. But I think sooner or later, he will come back and he will play."
