Dear Hannah,
This is yourself 9 years down the road. No worries, 19 is wonderful. There are some instructions I want you to follow; they might be scary and you might not understand, but you do as I say.
1. Get close with your teachers. Be kind to them and appreciate their hard work. They will help you.
2. The girl that sits by herself, befriend her. She's funny.
You never know what a person is going through, be kind to everyone.
3. Laugh as much as you can; you'll find it makes you happier, and others too.
4. Even if you think it's pointless, study. Cheating is not the way. You'll feel better getting that A if you actually earn it.
5. Growing up will get hard, you'll go through changes. Don't be afraid to ask questions, you're not alone.
6. People can be mean, be kind to them anyway - but don't ever let anyone take advantage of you.
7. Your parents do more for you than you can imagine. Help them and tell them you love them everyday.
8. The boy you have a crush on? Just go talk to him. NEVER worry about rejection. The answer will always be no if you don't ask (in general).
9. Stay out light when you're older; the night holds wonderful adventures, but don't go to the party.
10. Be strong when things get hard; sometimes it might seem like it's been dark forever but that just makes the sunrise more beautiful.
