The approach proposed in this paper deals with the application of TLS to the health
monitoring of a complex structure considering aspects related to the accuracy control in
georeference, together with rigorous approaches to model complex structures. Particularly, the
novelty and importance of this approach lays on the incorporation of an original weighted
Procrustes analysis for georeferencing and accuracy control, as well as the utilisation of the
radial basis function (RBF) for the surface parameterisation.
