This research was conducted for the detection of Escherichia coli in fermented pork. From department stores and fresh marketsfrom Muang district, LoeiProvince. Sampled sour pork wrapped in banana leaves from market, number two brands make up one sample and sample sour pork wrapped in plastic bags from stores, number two brands make up one example.Samples were taken from each brands twice for a total of 8 samples to examine for Escherichia coliusing Petrifilm Plate Count.Results showed that sour pork wrapped in banana leaves Brand B were 2.0 x 103CFU/g. It was found that samples number to exceed the benchmark of Escherichia coli 12.5% (1/8),with announced by the Assistant Community Standards,Ministry of Industry,470/2012 for the microbiological quality of fermented foods are animal products.The scheduled Traditional fermented foods are animal productsmust have Escherichia coli less than 3CFU/g
