Statistical analysis
Conventional statistical methods were used to calculate means
and standard deviations of three simultaneous assays carried out
with the different methods. Data collected for antioxidant properties
were analyzed by two-way analysis of variance to test the
effects of two fixed factors: concentration (levels: 0.15e20 mg/mL)
and EO (levels: coriander, celery and bush-basil). As regards antifungal
activity ANOVAs with two fixed factors EO (levels: coriander,
celery and bush-basil) and concentration (levels: 5, 10, 20 and
40 mL) were applied. The Tukey’s post hoc test was applied for
comparisons of means, differences were considered significant at
p > 0.05. Statistical analysis and comparisons among means were
carried out using the statistical package Statgraphics 5.1 for
Windows.
