Bone marrow transplantation has offered a defintive cure for the fraction of patients with available donors. Children with thalassemia have fewer circulating red blood cells than normal and make less hemoglobin that result in anemia. Pediatic nurse set guidelines for providing hight-quality nursing care for children suffering from thalassemia and establish criteria for evaluating the care provided to those children.
