Generating 3D virtual scene is a very important task in
the computer graphics and virtual reality community. Manual
scene generation by virtue of 3D graphics-based applications
appears as the mainstream for building 3D scene, since these
applications provide a comprehensive suite of tools for 3D
content creation work ranging from modeling through to
painting and rendering. For example, Autodesk Maya
provides a range of tools to allow people to model and render
3D scenes to achieve photo realistic imagery and almost
perfect visual effects. However, manual generation of 3D
scene using these applications is a time-consuming and
intensive process.
