2.6.2. Analysis of the extracts by gas chromatography– mass
spectrometry (GC/MS)
Each extract wa s analyzed by gas chromatography –mass
spectrometry. GC/MS conditions are as follows: the Agilent gas
chromatography wa s equipped with Agilent HP-5MS capillary
column (30 m 0.25 mm 0.25 m m). Helium (fl ow rate,1 mL/min)
wa s used as the carrier gas. The injector temperature wa s 250
C.
The oven temperature program wa s 40
C for 2 min, increased by
5
C/min – 15 0
C and wa s maintained for 1 min, then increased by
10
C/min – 250
C and held for 5 min. The gasi fi cation chamber
temperature wa s 280
C. Mass spectra were recorded at 70 eV in
electron impact (EI) ionization mode. The temperature of the
quadrupole mass detector and ion source were150
C and 230
C,
respectively. The temperature of transfer line wa s 280
C. Quantity
scanning range wa s from 20 to 350 amu. The standard solution wa s
analyzed under the same conditions as the extract.
