components to the 21st century learning context to help make meaningful connections for
learning.
Integrating high order thinking skills and technology tools all learning
activities.
Making content relevant to students’ lives
Bringing the world into the classroom
Connecting students to the world of work
Creating opportunities for students to interact with each other, with
teachers and with other knowledgeable adults in authentic learning experiences.
These connections are vital in developing engagement, motivation and positive attitudes
about learning.
